Abbey Barclay began her dance experience when she was nine years old. For eight years, the young dancer competed with Stage Door Dance Academy’s Performance Company where she was recognized with multiple dance scholarships and awards. Abbey trained in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, hip-hop, and contemporary. Following graduation, Abbey was selected to be a part of “The Collective”, an elite company that tours with and assists the amazing faculty of Dance Makers Inc., a national dance convention and competition. Some of the great mentors Abbey trained under were Keith Clifton, Brooke Paulsen-Zelus, Kathryn McCormick, Robert Roldan, and Dejan Tubic. Abbey continues to dive into her love of dance through both teaching and taking class.
