Andrea Fitzgibbons is so thrilled to be back teaching at Stage Door! She has spent the past two years living and teaching in Italy and is so happy to be home! Andrea has been blessed to be a member of the Stage Door faculty choreographing the musical theatre piece for the company! She attended the University of Illinois and received a degree in Music Education, but after college had the itch to perform. Andrea has performed in a National Tour and many regional theaters in the U.S. Some of her shows include: Hairspray, Legally Blonde, The Wedding Singer, Footloose, Gypsy, A Christmas Carol, The Music Man, All Shook Up, 42nd Street, and Rock of Ages. Andrea has also choreographed for show choirs, pom teams, and musicals throughout the Chicagoland area. She is so grateful to get share her passion for dancing, singing, acting, and music with kids from all over the world!
