Chrissy grew up competing on Stage Door Dance Academy’s performance company and training in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, hip-hop, and contemporary. Chrissy graduated from the University of Illinois in 2011 with a major in communication studies. She competed nationally with the Illini Dance Team placing in the top 10 in the nation. She was also part of Dance 2XS hip-hop company. Chrissy has also performed at the Carnival Choreographers Ball in L.A. at the Key Club under Kerri and Paula, and has performed multiple times in the Chicago Choreographers Ball. Chrissy was an extra dancer for the music video “Baby Get Down” by Tomi, and part of the opening act for TI/ T Pain with local artists Justice and JSterling. Chrissy has also spent multiple summers training at the E.D.G.E. performing arts center and Millennium Dance Complex on scholarship. In 2013 Chrissy was selected for the Professional Semester Program at Broadway Dance Center where she trained with world-renowned choreographers. Chrissy feels so lucky to give these kids the gift and love of dance that she had when she was a student at Stage Door Dance Academy.
