Kim Kramer

Kim began dancing at the age of 2, eventually training in ballet, modern, jazz, lyrical, tap, and hip hop. She trained with Russian ballet master Avnun Yakubov and ballet master Watmora Casey. As a young dancer Kim performed in Snow White The Ballet and ballet variations such as Paquita, and Cinderella, which included members of the Kirov Ballet Theatre of Chicago. She also has received extensive training from Lou Conte Dance Studio, Giordano Jazz Dance Chicago and, in Los Angeles, Edge Performing Arts Center, The Performing Arts Center, and Millenium Dance Complex. During her childhood she performed with Fabourgh Ballet Theatre, and competed and performed with Moves Dance Theatre and later Perseverance Dance Company, under the direction of Melissa Ridgway. While performing and competing she won numerous awards and scholarships. She is honored to have also performed with the Chicago Human Rhythm Project, which included working with tap masters, Lane Alexander and Brill Barrett, and the Mandelone Project in Los Angeles. Kim trained and worked with top choreographers in California, toured as a dancer/model with Wella Global Vision, and appeared on the MTV Movie Awards. Today, she feels blessed to be a faculty member of the Stage Door family. Her choreography has won top awards through the years and she is continuously dedicated to sharing her passion for dance and training young dancers to be the best that they can be.
